We got the Monster Marlin, Savage Sailfish, Ten-Ton Yellow-fin Tuna (ok, we exaggerated a bit on the weight), and Rock n Roll Roosterfish — even fat, succulent snook that the hotel will cook up for you! The best places to fish offshore here are Guanacaste and Quepos. Guanacaste is great from May through September, though October can be rainy.  The Quepos and Manuel Antonio area turns is the Season of the Sailfish from January through March.
